Combo queries!

Looking at combining different data sets for your campaigns? Combining queries in our new Combo queries module might be just what the doctor ordered!

The Combo-queries module enables you to combine multiple queries from the Query builder into one result set. Just like regular queries, the results are calculated and updated in real time, so the results are always up to date.

Why Combo queries?

Building queries in the Query builder uses a funnel principle - each filter narrows your data set down further. For example, “give me all Visitors with X Visitor tag AND who purchased an event in June AND have opted in to the newsletter. What if, you want to expand your reach instead of narrowing it?

Combo queries solve this by letting you combine separate Visitor lists in flexible ways. You can merge multiple audiences together (like Jazz fans, plus Classical Music buyers), or exclude one group from another - all customers minus recent purchasers). You can even mix these approaches for complex targeting.  This new module is built as a stand-alone feature and enables you to combine queries in new ways.

As of this release, you can use these combined audiences in your mailing campaigns.

Shared ticket receivers are now included in pre & after service mails

Better communication with your entire audience: Shared e-ticket recipients are now included in pre and after show service mails.

When a Visitor shares an e-ticket with family or friends, and they have accepted the invite. Those recipients will now automatically receive any service mailings for that Event. This means everyone attending gets the same important information. This feature works across all websites that have integrated accounts, ensuring constant communication with your full audience.

Vriendenloterij VIP-card discounts expands to Ovatic

All Dutch venues with an integrated Peppered purchase path can now offer Vriendenloterij discounts. The VIP cards are validated and checked for the maximum allowed number of tickets per event, even across multiple orders. Card numbers are sent to the Ticketing system for reporting.

If you want to start using Vriendenloterij on your website, read the Vriendenloterij article.

Analytics: option to add encrypted email and home address to dataLayer

To give you better insights into your customer journeys, we have added extra visitor data to the datalayer. This information is encrypted (hashed - meaning they are coded and unreadable) for privacy. This data helps you see how the same customer behaves on your site over time.

We thank Wilmink Theater for sponsoring this feature, and know this will bring their analytics to a new level. Remember to switch it on first!

Wayfinding improvements

Following your feedback on our Wayfinding module, we have made it easier for both you and your Visitors to manage and navigate your venue:

  1. Clearer signage options: You can now flip the labels to show event information prominently at the top with directional text below, making it easier for Visitors to quickly find what they are looking for.
  1. Faster icon selection: Find the right icons quickly with organised categories in the drop-down menu, saving you time when setting up your signage.
  1. Complete overview at a glance: Check all your Wayfinding screens instantly by adding /wayfinding/ to your website URL. This gives you a complete list with direct links to manage each screen efficiently.

Upgraded Dashboard modules

We have upgraded six more modules - People, Roles, Clusters, Genres, Themes and Them groups - to our improved Dashboard design. These modules now feature a cleaner interface with new capabilities like sorting by any column and quick toggle settings, making your content management faster and more intuitive. This is part of our ongoing effort to improve your entire Dashboard experience.

Example: ordering Theme Groupes by the Visible setting so all Visible Theme Groups are listed first.

Mailings: Improved security checks in all templates

All mailing templates are now thoroughly checked on the DNS settings of the sender email address or domain. The check covers multiple SPF/DMARC configurations and will show a notification in the mailing template or the planned mailing if anything is misconfigured, helping you maintain reliable email delivery and protect your reputation .

New layout options for People biography pages

People pages can now be displayed with full width or boxed hero images with the full biography text underneath, using the variant parameter. This is a new option next to the familiar circular portrait image. Thanks to Antwerp Symphony Orchestra for sponsoring this.
