Adding a sponsor footer and adding logos to the sponsor footer

Adding a sponsor footer and adding logos to the sponsor footer

We will explain how to add a sponsor footer to your website.

1. Add space for your sponsor footer

In order to show the sponsor footer, you need to make room for one.

1. Go to Dashboard > System > Sticky parts (these are the parts that will always be visible, no matter what page is selected).

2. Click on +Add and select the template called Sponsor Footer.

3. If you want you can add the desired amount of padding and the background colour.

4. By adding the parameter 'fullWidth' with the value 1, you can make sure the footer will be displayed across the full width of the page.

5. Make sure that 'footer' is selected in the Block field.

6. Select on which row you want the Sponsor footer, depending on what row the general footer is placed (which is mostly on row 999). If you want it above the general footer, you can choose row 998. If you want it at the bottom, you have to switch the row numbers.

2. Add a (new) sponsor logo to your sponsor footer

Now that we've made room for our sponsor footer, we can add the individual logo's.

1. Go to Dashboard > Website > Banners.

2. Click on Add Banner and choose for a banner type "Sponsors Footer".

The content you will add here will be displayed on the website in the space that you have reserved for the sponsor footer (usually above or below the footer).

Please contact a Peppered Expert for changes regarding the position on the page.

So to add/remove sponsor logos you go to the Banner module.

Add a Sponsor Footer and fill out:

  • start date and end date
  • dashboard name (to keep a good overview)
  • media

💡
Good to know: for each logo you have to create a new Sponsor Footer Banner.

You cannot add multiple pictures at once.

After creating multiple Sponsor Footers you should see them back in the list of Current banners in the banner module:

And you will see them on your website of course!
