V192 | Release Notes - March 2024

Date of release: Mon 18 & Tue 19 March, 2024

Beta: Monday 11th March, 2024

New CMS Development continues

As noted in previous release notes, we are actively developing the new CMS, which will bring further features, modules and improvements to Peppered. Some of the recent items in this development journey are multilingual toggles, opt-in and organisational modules, new icons, and more! As we continue development on the first phases of the new CMS, we look forward to sharing more with you and keeping you updated on how this is going.

More Features for Groups module

You can now assign a group to multiple events and productions at the same time. We have also added some UX improvements, such as quickly navigating between a group and linked events.

The Groups documentation has been updated to reflect these changes.

Anchors & Story Type filters on small screens

Another welcome improvement is that we've improved secondary navigation on small screens, enhancing your user journey regardless of where they are and their platform or device.

These additions can be found in the page anchor menu and the stories overview filter.

List-unsubscribe header for all Mailing Templates

We have added an option for an unsubscribe header to all mailing templates. There are dozens of benefits to having this—It is vital to include unsubscribe options in emails to comply with various laws globally relating to the use, collection, and retention of personal information. In doing so, you also raise credibility as a sender, improve email deliverability, and avoid recipients making emails spam if there is no easy-to-view or accessible unsubscribe option. These are just some of the primary benefits of having this in the header of the email.

Improvements to V4 Mailings

There have been many minor improvements to the V4 Mailings, alongside new styling options, including new preamble and footer options for full width or container width.

New Query Builder Filter “Purchased Genres and Tags”

This filter will find all visitors who have previously bought tickets for events in one or more selected genres.

Automatic Queue Bypass with Special Access

When you are logged into the Dashboard, and your website's queue parameter is queue=0, you will automatically skip the queue without using the “bypass queue” feature in the Dashboard. However, the special access only works when the queue parameter is 0, usually during maintenance.

The new Cleanup module

The feature identifies all email addresses in your database that appear inactive or unlinked to any additional data and provides the ability to delete the data identified within the module, which will provide an essential step in cleaning up unessential or unused personal data.

New visibility option for Story Types

You can now hide story types in the Dashboard. Stories will still be displayed on the website, but the story type is no longer visible in the story cards and filter.

Removed "other" county option in Accounts

Since not all box office systems allow for “other”, this option is now removed. All countries in your box-office system are available on your website. If you need more countries, please add them in your box-office system. We can then import them to the platform to ensure an exact match.

Additional updates

  • Added support for Vimeo and YouTube start times in video URL
  • Fix for the bug in which there was a missing error message on an incorrectly entered password.
