Query Builder updated with shared tickets
Last release we introduced our new ticket sharing feature. Now we included every visitor with a shared ticket to the existing query targeting every visitor who has tickets for a specific set of events or productions.
Queuing Upgrade
2024 is not even over, and we are already looking to 2025 and the up-coming pre-sale season!
Thanks to feedback from Parktheater and some clients we have been working on improving our trusted Queue feature. Some highlights:
Improved feedback in the queue
- The option to display your position and the total length of the queue.
- Display when your position was last successfully updated.
- Improved text (with all new Template Texts, handily, all starting with "FE3_queue") and layout.
Improved behaviour and related settings:
- New default behaviour is to end sessions after 15 minutes of inactivity. So those sessions no longer push people back from the site to the queue when they suddenly become active again after 15 minutes. The sessions are removed, and the visitor will be placed back in the queue, again after 15 minutes of inactivity.
- If the Queue is at zero, everyone gets the same refresh interval (based on the length of the Queue), to even out the chance to enter the site after a Queue shuffle.
- All the above behaviour is now fully configurable via the Control Panel.
- Added support for the button style in the βnotice in queueβ message.
Fixed:
- The timer jumping around a bit during the end of a countdown cycle.
- Show timer when the Queue is increased from zero to a higher limit (at zero, there is no timer, just a maintenance message).
- Now redirected to the intended page after you leave the queue.
- If errors occur in updating your queue position for any reason, the page eventually reloads.
- There now is a default Template Text (FE3_queueMaintenance) that will be displayed when the queue is at zero, when no message is added, to prevent visitors seeing an empty page with no explanation.
Check out our revamped Queing article which explains the inner logic of the queue and what exactly the new settings do.
New "include in exports/feeds" setting per Event
This new checkbox (checked by default) can be unchecked to exclude an event from any export or feed. This includes the JSON event feeds and the UiTdatabank export.
New βStart week on Sundayβ setting
If you like your website date picker to display weeks starting on Sundays, we have you covered. In the Control Panel > Formats you can now find this new setting.
TNEW Template Improvements
For our Tessitura users, we come with an impressive update, creating a cleaner styling of the TNEW purchase path pages.
These updates include:
- Favicon added to the TNEW purchase path
- Dynamic content alignment on confirmation page
- Our order pages when printed were adding really long URLS
- Fixed some v16 alignment issues around Ticket Type selection
- Removed the static login link in the header on TNEW pages (this link is only used on the marketing website to link to the TNEW pages)
Additional updates
- Mailings: Fixed breakpoints on Events listing part for Gmail App, Android 12 and newer
- Query Builder: Fixed the CSV export that was missing Box Office ID and gender values
- Course age filter: Fixed unexpected results when no max age was defined
- Stories: Fixed issue with arrow styling on filters
- Parameters: Separate padding variables for list view and card/grid view for more styling freedom
- Search: The search URL now uses ?s= in place of ?zoekwaarde , which was an old remnant of our Dutch heritage
