iDEAL 2.0
iDeal 2.0 features a new bank select screen with a direct barcode to quickly start a payment without even having to select your bank. Skipping a whole step in the purchase flow, selecting what bank to use, speeding up the checkout process for your visitors.
This new feature will be rolled out by your Payment Service Provider (PSP) somewhere in the next year.
To prepare for this update we have removed the Peppered bank select step from Integrated purchase path. Now when you choose the iDEAL payment option, you will be redirected to your PSP (Mollie or Pay) to select the bank or directly scan a barcode (if iDEAL 2.0 is already activated for you by your psp)

Server side Tagging with MondoMarketing/AdPage
This pixel is no ordinary tracking pixel - our Analytics/marketing partner MondoMarketing teamed up with AdPage to offer server side tagging to the CultureSuite community.
We automated the entire integration process and created a simple configuration in the Dashboard to set it all up. More information about the set-up in this article.

Query Builder: Realtime calculation of “mailing query” setting
The “Mailing query” toggle in a query removes all visitors with 3 or more bounces from the results, making sure the query results properly reflects the true list of recipients. Changing this toggle would only take effect after saving the query, making it hard to see the effect immediately. In this release we made sure that a change in this setting is directly picked up when using the “recalculate” button.
Separate styling options for date & time in Coming Soon
You can now create different styles for the date and time in the Coming Soon Part.
Cookie Banner button styling check-up
In Version 199 we released separate button styling for “accept all” (primary button style) and the other two buttons (secondary button style) to make it easier to recognize the “select all” option.
We noticed that in some client websites the secondary button styling looks more like a link, which is not ideal. Secondary buttons are designed to be buttons, and are used throughout the website to draw attention to interactions. By styling them as a link, you lose clarity and decrease the UX and accessibility of your website.
Furthermore, European legislation dictates that all options in a Cookiebanner should be equally visible to avoid dark patterns. Meaning buttons should look like buttons. They can have different colours, but they should be clearly recognizable as different options in a set of choices.
We will be reaching out to you in the near future to discuss changes to your button styling when this applies to you. If you want to take matters into your own hands, find us at the support portal, and we will change your secondary button style as part of your support agreement.
New module: Spaces
While working on our new Wayfinding feature (to be announced later) we needed a new concept for areas in the venue building like foyers, entrances, and other places where part of a (commercial) event might take place. These “spaces” are typically not in your CMS because cultural events are not usually held there, but commercial events might use more areas in a location.
This gave rise to the new “Spaces” module, which we also extended to cultural events.
Spaces can also be used to group different Hall versions together. Often our venues use multiple versions of the same hall, for different tier setups, etc. With “Spaces” all these different hall versions of the same Hall are now grouped together in a “space” with the same name.
This will open exciting new opportunities for features in the future. Spaces will eventually be added as a filter option in the What’s on page, so your visitors can filter not only by location, but also by “space” (a specific hall) within your location(s).
In this release, all Halls with the same name will automatically be grouped into a Space with the same name. Every Hall that was connected to a Location will now be connected to a Space, while that Space is connected to the Location. This should all work out of the box after release.

The new structure is: Halls > Spaces > Locations
The Spaces module is one of the first new modules created in the new CMS framework, and is not available in the current CMS layout. It gives a glimpse of things to come, while we continue the work on the new CMS.

Mobile menu and “quick links”
In the Hamburger menu configuration, an option is available to show a couple of Quick Links in the menu Header on Desktop for easy access to the most popular areas of the website without having to use the Hamburger menu. All these Quick Links would disappear at once from the Header as soon as the screen was too small to fit them all.
In this latest iteration, some Quick Links will stay as long as there is space for them, meaning that on smaller screens, some links might still be shown, particularly the first one (typically that is the “What’s on” link) will stay as long as possible on the smaller screens. This all depends on the amount of space that is available next to the website logo. Bigger logo’s mean less space for Quick Links.
Additional Updates:
- Theme Groups: We have fixed a bug where thumbnails of Themes were showing on a Theme Group Page to users with Visitor Tags during a particular Presale set up scenario, when they should not be shown.
