How to set up your website footer


The website footer contains four columns. Each column has a heading and a body. The heading is for the column title; the body is for the content. You can add texts about contact info, opening hours, and links to various pages.

Setting up your Footer

A typical new Footer looks something like this:

You can find all Footer texts in the Template Texts module by going to Dashboard > System > Template Texts.

Search for FE3_footer to find all Footer Template Text. Or search for any text that is currently in your Footer to find the correct Template Text.

Take note! Footer column 4 is reserved for social media links, and the newsletter subscribe button.

Adding Social Media Icons to the Footer

Go to Control panel > Core to configure Social links. The icon of the links will appear automatically after you add the social links.

Adding Newsletter subscribe button

Go to Control Panel > mailing lists to switch on the Newsletter subscribe option. Make sure you have all your opt-ins correctly configured.
