Adding Microsoft Clarity with Peppered cookie consent

To capture multi-screen recordings and funnels in Microsoft Clarity, you must call their consent API once you have Visitors consent. To make this easier for you, we have created a Tag Manager template that works with the Peppered cookie consent module.

⚠️
Take note! You must have set the Peppered Cookie consent tag up first. If you have already set this up previously before July 2025, you must use our updated cookie consent template. You can find the guide on how to do this here.
⚠️
Take note! If you have an integrated Peppered Order Flow (Ticketmatic, Itix, Ovatic, Eventim), when Clarity is used this can cause problems with the Seatmap for iPhone users. In Goggle Tag Manager, you can set Clarity to only work on specific pages i.e. disable for the seat map.

ℹ️

Our template works on the basis that users have opted to accept all cookies. Users who have not selected all cookies will only provide limited data, mostly limited to heatmaps/single-page sessions. This can skew your perception of sessions in Microsoft Clarity; please keep this in mind.
